The fort is located in the valley of the Beli Timok River, near the village ofRavna, with a rectangular base measuring 144 x 112m and the total area of about 2 ha. Archaeological research registered four construction phases of the fortress in the period from I century to the beginning of the V century. The fort was destroyed in a fire in the middle of the V century A.D. during the invasion of the Huns in 441.
